Originally from Livermore, California which is part of the Eastern edge of the San Francisco Bay Area.  Attended San Jose State University where I have a B.S. in Finance with a Minor in Economics.

Moved to New Mexico in 1992 to escape the high cost of living and enjoy a more moderate lifestyle and pace.  My hobbies include softball, golf, fly fishing, skiing, and camping.

Work Experience
Currently Vice President at Bank of Albuquerque in the Commercial Real Estate lending department.

In February, 2006, joined Grubb & Ellis New Mexico as the Executive Vice President as part of the Executive Management team for the largest Commercial Real Estate brokerage company in New Mexico.  He was responsible for training all new Brokers and managed the company’s Administrative Assistants. 

Previously was Vice President and Manager of the Commercial Real Estate Lending Department for Wells Fargo Bank in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  He managed a staff of 7 employees and a commercial real estate loan portfolio of over $220 million with over 200 customers.  Originally joined Wells Fargo in 1996 where the entire time at Wells Fargo had been in the Commercial Real Estate Lending Department.  Duties included developing new loans, servicing existing customers, and selling additional banking services to our customers as needed.

Prior to moving to New Mexico, Darin was a Financial Services Consultant with a private company where he specialized in providing financial planning to individuals and small businesses.

Community Involvement
President – Elect of the New Mexico CCIM real estate chapter and serve on that Board of Directors.
President – Elect for the Downtown Action Team (DAT) Board of Directors
Member of the UNM Anderson School Foundation Board
Previously a Member of the NAIOP Board of Directors
Previously was Treasurer and Board Member for the Barrett Foundation.
