City Needs More Caring Landlords
A.S.D'BEQ
Albuquerque

I THINK THE recent move to provide housing for low-income families was an excellent idea and long overdue.

Unfortunately, we have some extraordinarily greedy landlords in Albuquerque who have spent years providing expensive "dumps" for people to live in.  If that is the best the City Council has to offer the citizens of Albuquerque, then perhaps it's time to take a closer look at finding replacements for them.....
I happen to be fortunate enough to live where the owner respects his tenants and it is reflected in the quality of life his tenants enjoy.  That is the rare exception in Albuquerque and it makes a big difference in the quality of life in a low-income state.
