"Impact of Residential Interest Rates"

Single family mortgage interest rates dipped to a 20 year low during 1992-1993, and landlords noticed an increase in vacancies due to the availability of low interest home loans. The following charts was compiled by one of Albuquerque’s larger apartment communities and demonstrates the impact of a declining interest rate vs. the increase in rental moveouts.
